If you are feeling constantly nervous and uncomfortable, everything becomes more challenging. If it ever gets so intense you feel like you can’t breathe, we can work together on tools you can use to get your anxiety under control.
Being a teenager is an exciting time in life, but it can also be quite demanding and difficult. Often we find ourselves living our lives according to how we were told that we ought to be. This is especially common in an age where we put pressure on ourselves to do more, try harder, and we spend more of our time behind a screen than face to face with other people.
Do you ever feel stuck in the past, replaying an event over and over or re-experiencing it as if it were happening in the present? Have you ever struggled to remember traumatic events or details? These symptoms are normal after a traumatic event, but they can be scary. We can work together to help you get unstuck and heal.
Counseling is a space where trauma can be processed, wounds can be healed, and skills can be created. I balance being a good listener with being an active part of your treatment process, and I am here to help you learn to be your own best advocate.
FEES
I am in-network with a few insurance companies (Premera, Blue Cross, Anthem, and Lifewise). Please feel free to reach out to me to determine whether I am in-network with your specific plan. If I am not an in-network provider for your plan, I am happy to provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement. My out-of-network and private pay rates are listed below:
